iSystems was founded in 2004 by a group of engineers with extensive experience in the development of custody transfer metering and process control systems for natural gas, industrial gases and oil products.
With this experience, iSystems offers a wide range of solutions, from consultancy to complete turnkey systems, from relatively simple standard units to border metering stations on major pipelines.
Our home base is Antwerp, one of the leading cities in the Flemish part of Belgium. It's Europe's second largest seaport for international shipping freight and an important (petro)chemical hub; the Antwerp chemical cluster is known as the "Chemical Port of Europe" and is the second-largest chemical cluster in the world. It plays a pivotal role in the global chemical landscape, with the presence of many of the top chemical companies in the world.
Some product suppliers also do system integration work, but are biased toward their own products -even if those aren't the best solution.
iSystems is fully independent; we base our solutions on the needs of our customers. By understanding the issues involved in the design you have in mind for your system, we are able to delivery solutions that hit the target.
The process of integrating different types of equipment, instruments and software into a smoothly running package leads to a number of obvious and less obvious pitfalls. Working with an experienced integrator gives customers the benefit of a well-designed and tested package, with a single point of responsibility.
The main construction activities for our packaged systems can be carried out at various locations to meet the specific needs of any project. Appointed workshops boast facilities for piping and steelwork fabrication, mechanical assembly, the fabrication of Station Control panels or analyzer systems, with specialized companies for professional blast cleaning and coating nearby. And of course, the necessary experienced, trained and certified personnel to get the job done.
The design and fabrication industry has moved from big long-term contracts to smaller, project-based orders. We avoid being too large to be flexible, or too small to meet customer requirements. We provide specific knowledge, experience and capabilities to serve the existing and developing markets.
In a synergy with other Group companies we can mobilize certified welders and technicians to match our projected workload, using assembly locations in several EU countries as well as in the UAE.
For projects where the requirements for Local Content or project logistics demand it, we will team up with various experienced
contractors in or close to the country of destination to handle all or part of the manufacturing and assembly process under our close supervision.
Subcontractors are carefully selected to meet all requirements of our certified Quality Management System.

We're system integrators, delivering peace of mind with our turnkey packages. Customers can also profit from our know-how for projects within our field of expertise, where we offer third-party engineering and consultancy services based on our specific skills and expertise. All our clients can trust us to design specific solutions for their applications.
During a proposal or feasibility study, iSystems works closely with the Client every step of the way to ensure that goals are met. Site visits prior to the start of engineering work as well as presentations and supporting activities can be provided.
Our engineering packages transfer all relevant information to clients and fabricators, covering the entire set of know-how needed to construct and operate the system. Our packages can include PFD's and P&ID's, equipment specs and datasheets, descriptions of process control, materials lists and fabrication drawings, all depending on the level of detail required by the Client.
