In today's world, all but the simplest systems require at least some degree of logic control, visualization and monitoring. Flow computers, Supervisory and HMI systems form an integral part of our metering solutions.
We design, build, test and install these Station Control Systems usually as part of a turnkey metering or gas delivery station, but also as separate systems to upgrade existing installations.

Custody Transfer Metering systems are generally supplied complete with microprocessor-based flow computers which are the actual "cash registers" of the metering system.
iSystems is familiar with the most widely used brands and latest technologies.
Process control systems may be limited to a few simple controls and operations performed by the flow computers, but they may also require extensive PLC or DCS-based process control and PC-based Supervisory and HMI systems for station control, monitoring, automation of verification and calibration, reporting, trending, communication with the main Plant DCS and much more.
We design these systems in-house in close partnership with specialist companies supplying the tailor-made software to suit every project's specific application requirements.
Flow computers are the "brains" of a metering system, implementing algorithms using signals received from flow meters, temperature, pressure and density transmitters, analyzers etc. to which they are connected into volumes at base conditions, quantities of energy or any other contractual basis for custody or fiscal transfer.
They audit changes made to the parameters required to perform their calculations, record events and alarms related to the flow meters, transmitters or analyzers, and keep a running tally for each flow meter they monitors to create records on an hourly, daily, batch or monthly basis. And finally they make all data available through an electronic interface for supervision, accounting and auditing by other computers.
And so, flow computers are key component in custody transfer or fiscal metering systems. They're approved to metrological standards such as OIML R117-1, EN12405 and WELMEC 7.2 for software.
Some flow computers are available as completely programmable devices using a variety of software tools, some are only configurable using the manufacturer's specific software package to set up the interfaces to GC's, ultrasonic or coriolis meters, provers, flow control valves, PLC, DCS, SCADA and industry-recognized HMI supervisory systems. Which flow computer is most suitable will depend entirely on your specific application.
Flow computers are a must for all custody transfer and fiscal metering systems.
