Natural gas and hydrogen are often highly pressurized when traveling through transport pipelines. Once the gas reaches its destination, it has to be brought up to spec for its consumers; liquids and solids have to be filtered out, the gas may have to be heated, the pressure and flow controlled, and -last but not least- the downstream consumers should be protected from being exposed to the full pipeline pressure.

Gas delivery systems can be simple and straightforward pressure reducing runs -or they can include fiscal metering plus the complete range of safety features, gas conditioning and analysis, and extensive process controls. iSystems provides complete solutions for any application, including all ancillary systems.
HIPPS Systems
Protect
Safety is a major consideration in our system solutions. The safety of the plant, its personnel, the general public and the environment are very much on the forefront. We provide High Integrity Pressure Protection (HIPPS) systems, either as standalone units or as integral part of our Pressure Reducing and Metering systems. Combinations of multiple safety systems, including blowdown/relief with cold stacks or flares are made-to-measure for specific applications.
Filters/separator systems
Clean
Gas filter separators remove all kinds of contaminants from the flow stream, most importantly water, hydrocarbons, compressor lube oil, sand and other abrasives. Without gas filters and/or separators, gas will fail to meet quality and safety requirements for its purity. In addition, filters prevent the build-up of liquids in downstream systems.
Our gas delivery systems can be equipped with filters of our own or third-party design, and are fabricated at selected, certified workshops.
Gas preheating
Heat
In fuel gas or distribution systems, gas may have to be heated to counter the cooling effect of pressure reduction or to optimize gas turbine efficiency.
Our gas delivery systems can be fitted with suitable water- or steam-fed gas heaters in any configuration, complete with ancillaries (e.g. boiler systems) or with electrical heaters suitable for use in a hazardous area. Gas heaters can be of our own or third-party design, and fabricated at selected, certified workshops.
Analyzer systems
Analyze
Gas analysis in fuel gas or distribution stations is often critical -it ensures that the gas is perfectly up to spec for the consumers. For gas-fired power plants, live information about composition, heating value and dewpoint is needed to maintain peak efficiency. iSystems provides complete made-to-order analyzer systems, linked seamlessly with the station and plant control systems.
Gas odorizers
Odorize
Natural gas is odorless and colorless as well as flammable, which makes it dangerous in environments where no gas detection is installed. Our systems are designed to add odorant (e.g. THT) to the gas stream, giving the gas its characteristic unpleasant smell to warm the public of gas leaks at levels well below the LEL. Our odorizers can be supplied as part of a larger RMS package or as standalone units.
Control systems
Control
All but the simplest systems require at least some degree of logic control and monitoring. With our systems, we can provide simple as well as extensive PLC or DCS-based control systems, with or without Supervisory/SCADA systems, single or redundant, complete with power distribution and -backup. These systems can be designed to interface with higher-level (e.g. plant control) systems using standard protocols.
